Who we are

Founded in 2012 and based in Walkinstown Park on the south side of Dublin, Hippetys Softball Club is one of Ireland’s most vibrant and inclusive sports communities. We are proud to be the only club in Leinster with a team in every division of the Irish Softball League – from beginner-friendly Division 3 all the way up to the Premier Division.

Hippetys is an all-gender, social and competitive club that welcomes players of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you’ve never picked up a bat before or you’re chasing championships, there’s a place for you here.

Our four teams – the Hippos (Div 3), Hypnotists (Div 2), Hipsters (Div 1), and Hippies (Prem) – offer a clear pathway for players to grow, compete and connect. And while we love our weekly games, you'll just as often find us at weekend tournaments or enjoying the craic at a club social.
